How do they work?
Chemical peeling involves the application of gentle chemicals that cause a shedding of the superficial skin layers. By shedding these layers, a new healthy skin layer is formed. As well as prompting this process of re-growth, a chemical peel also encourages the dermis to produce new collagen under the skin surface essential for younger and more toned looking skin
Results
This new skin looks brighter, fresher and more toned. Uneven pigmentation is improved, fine lines and wrinkles, acne and acne scarring are reduced as well as age spots, blackheads and freckling. Enlarged pores can also be reduced.
With the new generation of Chemical Peels you can now return to your usual daily activities straight away. Gone are the days where you have to hide away for days after your treatment.
How long does the treatment take?
Chemical Peels are given as a course, starting gently and gradually increasing in strength as the skin adjusts to the procedure. Several peels, usually on a two-four weekly basis, are required to achieve the desired effect.
